This recipe for Blondies will really tickle your tastebuds but keep you energised to train for the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run! We’ve made these so many times we can guarantee you won’t be able to taste them!

 

 

 

Ingredients

 

Coconut Oil (to grease tin)

1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained

1 egg

1 egg white

½ cup nut butter

1/3 cup honey

2 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp salt

¾ tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

1/3 cup dark chocolate chips

 

Method

 

  1. Preheat oven to 180C and grease tin with melted coconut oil or line with baking paper
  2. In a food processor, blend together all ingredients except chocolate chips
  3. Fold in half of the chocolate chips
  4. Spread batter evenly into tin and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown
  6. Enjoy and try not to eat them all at once!
