Shalva

Their personal attention to the needs of each child and family has enabled SHALVA to grow from just a few families in the first year to more than 500 families in 25 years. Moreover, their frustrations strengthened them to become advocates for inclusion and meaningful integration, recognized the world-over for their selfless determination to make the world more accepting of the special needs populations.

Israeli Dance Institute


IDI is a unique emotive, educational tool providing a gateway to Jewish continuity. IDI works with more than 20 Jewish schools and youth organisations in the UK impacting on over 4000 children. Additionally, IDI work with emerging Jewish Communities or those communities still in distress, especially in Eastern Europe.

Aims2Cure

Aims2Cure is a registered charity established in 1999. Their aim is to fund research into finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and they currently sponsor various projects taking place at some of the UK’s leading neurological institutions. Additionally, through their Michelè Elster Fund, they help to improve the quality of life of people with MS.

Jewish Women’s Aid

JWA is the only specialist organisation in the UK which supports Jewish women affected by domestic violence. JWA was founded to support thousands of Jewish women, who, each year, will face physical, emotional, psychological, sexual or financial abuse from within their home. JWA gives survivors the confidence to make informed choices about their next steps in their lives and will support survivors for as long as she needs.

Norwood

Norwood is the largest, Jewish charity in the UK and they support vulnerable children and their families, children with special educational needs and also people with learning difficulties. Norwood was founded in 1795 and is one of the UK’s oldest charities. They help children and adults to maximise their potential at home, school and throughout their lives.

Save a Childs Heart

Save a Child’s Heart is an Israeli-based, international, non profit organisation. They are known worldwide for their commitment to saving lives by improving the quality of cardiac care for children from developing countries and also creating centres of medical competence in these countries.

Yoni Jesner Foundation

The Yoni Jesner Foundation was set up in memory of Yoni Jesner, who was killed in a suicide bombing on a bus in Tel Aviv. Yoni’s drive and determination led him to achieve more in his 19 years than many people do in a lifetime. The Yoni Jesner Foundation inspires young people to do more and care more and provides Yoni Jesner Awards for voluntary communal service and scholarships for those who wish to spend a gap year in Israel.
