UJIA changes lives by investing in educating young people in Israel and the Jewish community. UJIA focuses on the under-resourced Galil region by creating new educational and employment opportunities throughout schools, colleges and the community. Within the UK, UJIA focuses on Jewish and Israel engagement by supporting youth movements, schools and educational programmes in Israel such as Israel Tour.




Boys Town Jerusalem


Boys Town Jerusalem provide refuge in Israel for children who survived the Holocaust and those who came to Israel after the holocaust from around the word. Boys Town Jerusalem provides support for these people by providing themwith tools and skills to live a constructive and happy live within Israel.






JNF works to make a real difference within the Negev. They support schools and hospitals, bring high tech industry to remote desert towns and ensure that gifted children can pursue their passions. The JNF focuses on projects within the Negev that relieve poverty and promote community development to help transform the culture of the Negev. The aim is to better the lives of people who live in the Negev.






Magen David Adom is israel’s only national medical emergency, disaster, ambulance and blood service. Since June 2006, it has been official recognised as the national aid society of Israel. Additionally, MDA provides and maintains Israel’s 875 ambulances and is responsible for all Israel’s first aid and pre hospital medical emergency training. MDA UK helps to assist MDA in Israel.




My Israel


My Israel helps UK donors support small charities in Israel in a meaningful way. They have carefully selected charitable projects within Israel that they feel the community are able to relate to and all funds that are donated to My Israel are directly transferred to the projects that one chooses. My Isral focuses on a range of different projects which help people to break negative cycles such as domestic violence, family mediation etc.






Leket Israel is the largest food back in Israel. Leket sources, collects and redistributes fresh and qualityfood which would otherwise be considered waste from farms, hotels, military bases and catering halls. This is done in an effort to aid the quarter of the country’s population that lives below the poverty line. Leket provides nutritious food to over 175,000 Israelis per week.




Shaare Zedek


Shaare Zedek raises funds for the Shaare Zedek Medical Centre in Jerusalem. As well as the Shaare Zedek Medical Centre supporting infrastructure and training in developing countries, it combines compassionate care with advanced medicine in Jerusalem. The centre has nearly 100 departments and serves more than half a million patients per year. It is the fastest growing hospital in the region.






Zaka is Israel’s primary rescue and recovery volunteer organisation with thousands of volunteers on call 24/7 to respond to any terror attack, accident or disaster. Over the years, Zaka has been established to include different units of transport (e.g. motorcycle, jeep, jet-ski) to ensure that highly trained volunteers can bring their specialist skills and dedication whilst ensuring that they respond quickly to an emergency situation.
