Charities & Schools

Here at Langdon, we empower our members to become more productive, valued members of society by providing many different services, including supported living, education, employment support, social activities and youth schemes.

Through our unique approach to helping people become more independent, our members enjoy a variety of opportunities which foster educational, professional and personal growth.

Many of our members' journeys start with Brady Club; our youth club designed specifically for young people with learning disabilities. Brady Club seeks to inspire a love of learning in our members and to help them cultivate their own set of Jewish values.

On the subject of education, our colleges in Manchester and London offer nationally recognised qualifications, as well as courses to help with more independent living.

After completing their education, most people set their eyes on employment. New Chapters is an organisation which sells second-hand books over the internet, it is run almost entirely by Langdon members, and provides them with the skills and experience employers are looking for.

While our members empower themselves through education and employment, many seek more independence at home. Our supported living programmes run in Manchester, London and Herfordshire provide housing and support to Langdon members who seek greater independence in a space away from their parental home.
